The roots of the natural world are extending to the world of fashion. Contemporary developments in fashion are closing the gap between sustainable products beneficial for the environment and a clothing style to be proud of with a metropolitan lifestyle. Recently the parasitical relationship between fashion and nature is finally growing into a symbiosis. Adidi (Adrian Woods & Gidi van Maarseveen) showed the merger of the two at the Roots exhibition that opened the 21st of january 2011 at the sustainable concept store ‘Charlie + Mary’ in Amsterdam.
